Thanks CB, I did check and there is no frequency valve on this one. Reason being, it has been removed. Found a connector in the return line. Guess that is where it was at one time. The 02 sensor was also tampered with. The PO cut the 02 sensor wire under the car. It was connected at the firewall but did not go to anything, just wraped in tape. So how in the world is this thing still running? I drove it today and it ran well. Remember this is a project car so I am fixing things as I go. It idles ok, a little fast, but still idles. This is an improvement over what it would do last week. When I got the car it had no intake system. The filter box, bellows and everything else connected to the throttle body was missing. I have been guessing at most of the parts, trying to put it back to operational condition. I am not being obstanant, just my lack of knowledge of this system. Thanks again for all your help. I just went to Groton and the valve is around $115.00, wow, no wonder the previous owner cut it out..Wonder if the 02 is ok or did he cut it also to keep from investing money in the car.. I seem to have bought a really butchered car.. Max
