I'm pretty sure you can test the Oxy sensor with a volt-ohm meter (VOM).
Look in the FAQ. Or look in a Haynes or Bentleys book.
I'm pretty sure the '90 oxy sensor is screwed into the catalytic converter - but maybe LH3.1 is different.
Anyway, my point is, I found it difficult to change the oxygen sensor that is mounted in the cat. Lying under the car I could not get enough leverage on it to turn it. It would be much easier with the car on a shop lift. I'm sure there is a way to do it.
