here's a question which might effect my carbs(?)
the three bolt air cleaners are about 2" tall, where as the 2 bolt air cleaners are only about an 1" tall (maybe 2.5 and 1.5 for george) will this make a difference as i installed the 3 bolt air cleaners on my 2 bolt carbs using long bolts and nuts and taping the third hole closed ( i didn't have any of the shorter 2 bolt filters). i remember from my early years a taller air cleaner effected carbs in some way but i don't remember how.
