Suspension stuff 120-130

Original springs are still on the car. Current tires are Yokohama Avid T4 185/65/15. Previous tires were Kumho Ecsta 196/65/15 - looked better but rolled too much in high speed cornering on those skinny stock rims.

I asked at the local speed shops who to use for alignment. Several suggested a small shop with three generations of family circle racers. The place was called Bonebreak Alignment - no lie! Results were very good. They have a huge glass observation window in the waiting room. A good deal of time was spent shimming the upper control arms.

Rubber was used on my car when the front end was rebushed in deference to the many commuting miles anticipated. There is still a great deal of road "feel" compared to newer cars. The lower A arm bushings seem to be doing allright after 18 months. They did need to be tightened several times before settling in.

The Bilstiens seem to really help keep the rubber on the road over bumps and dips. I've no experience with replacing springs so I don't know what improvement is realized with a good set.
