Thanks for all the information. I just today had to buy tires and put 195/75R15 house brand tires on. Those were the narrowest tires with the 75% aspect ratio I could find. They still balloon away from the rim.
The KYB's are going to have to be replaced even though they still have relatively low mileage on them. The car was steady and predictable when bounced but has recently started to settle unevenly over bumps. I mean that each corner is damping at a different rate. That is new; the past week or so. I have heard various things about the Bilsteins from "too harsh" to "the fix". It's good to have some feedback from someone who spends a lot of time on the road. If I'm going to spend that kind of money I'd like it to be "the fix". I'll get the IPD bar too.
