You are correct, I was a bit too harsh.... Perhaps I'm just tired of being burned by the dealerships with lousy service and outrageous prices. To me, a new or used car warranty is worthless as I don't trust the dealers to get the job done correctly or safely, in other words, I'll fix it myself.
