And oddly, her second one was purple too, a metallic dark purple.

I remember the old old Saturn commercials where they invited all the Saturn owners down to some big picnic get-together out in the middle of nowhere and how they were a "different kind of car company." Maybe its still true, I don't know.

However, being 6'4" and not thin, neither of my mother's Saturns fit me at all and I suppose that's where my hatred of them came from more than anything. Also the exploding trannys that got changed a few times...
