Wonder if the "modern" 960 has the "modern" relay?

I think it is, based on the fact my '79's flasher is electronic. But that doesn't mean it isn't purposely bulb current sensitive, to provide the same old rapid flashing indication of bulb out.

Someone I know recommends getting the Volvo WDM literature at a minimum, for factory-correct electrical info. Does that still work for 1997?
