Congratulations! As of last December I became a first time PV owner. Mine had sat for 13 years (how many more are still hiding???). It was running when parked. I had to replace my fuel pump too. However mine is a 1965. I called Joe at Swedish Treasures and got a replacement. I also had to replace the gas tank as a rust hole appeared in top. I had the replacement cleaned and treated. The previous owner tried to start it and filled the SUs with the nasty gas.
