Front bumper removal -

A few months back I took the '97 965 wifemobile to my dealer body shop to reinstall the valence strip she knocked half off. They had that bumper off in seconds. Th whole job was less than an hour, the $70 cost (labor, I had bought the clips) was well worth it too me.

Can't be too hard, just cumbersome. As I recall, the front must be lifted and bolts removed from each side working from the inside. Then the whole bumper slides off towards the front. Probably two people can do it easier.

Before removing the headlight make note of the adjustment methods and the way the little scale things are set up. It's not like a system I have seen before, but then, I've seen only 240s, no 740s or 940s.
