warms up too fast? 700

..my '90 745 (turbo) wagon experience is that it would take little bit more time - around 5 minutes; I mean the gage reaching its middle position.

I guess it would also depend on the driving style.
Do you have the preheat hose from exhaust to the air filter box? I do not.

As long as your gage does not go into red zone when climbing up during warm weather things should be fine. Even better fuel efficiency in case of the faster warm up.
