Ah, now I understand what you mean.

Before you toss 'em aside, though, consider: many modern ABS fitted cars use only one circuit, and many race prepared cars use calipers fed by single lines - calipers that were designed to use two lines are modified such that the two circuits within the caliper become one. Not everyone does this, and perhaps it's best that they don't.

The bottom line is, though, that you should do what you feel is best in order that you'll feel safe when driving the car. I probably shouldn't confess that my 122 still has its original MC and front calipers... but in over 300K miles they've never failed to slow the car, even with a supercharger and even on track days, so I go with it.
