They work fine, my point is... 120-130

I think they we've discussed a few issues regarding Mercedes engineering. Tiny weak little wheel bearings come to mind...

Still, that's a worthy point and I'm not married to the dual-triangular brakes for this car, but I am definitely going for the modern brake booster. Those were stock on the 69-70 models and the GTs (maybe) and I see no reason to drop 3-400.00 on a replacement for the inadequate Girling MK2A unit when I can spend 120.00 max on a 140 system (including custom welding) that looks stock and performs like a modern car.

My wagon had a complete 1800E brake system transplant including the dual proportioning valves. I have read that adjustable units are nice though...
