Optimal milage and timing 120-130

The FPR on mine was a pain as it seemed to reduce volume as well as pressure at low settings. As a result fuel would not push by the valves but the engine would starve after 30 mins full(ish) throttle. As a result in the city I had no problems and highway trips required a stop to set pressure higher, which did not alloww the carbs to leak as the fuel consumption kept the pressure in check (relieved the pressure). All of which to say I use a stock fuel pump now and would not use any jobber pump with SUs unless it putout the spec., fuel pressure.
