Odd noises when coasting 120-130

The sweet spot for my 122 (M40 with 4.10 gears) was around 65-70 MPH - where I was routinely getting 30. I'm now converting that car to a 240 rear with 3.73 gears and have an M41 to back up the "new" engine, when it gets done. Check the rear brakes while your looking, but I can't see why a front wheel would be hot unless you were on the brakes very hard. Could be something binding there. Have you tried to rotate the wheel while on jack stands? Shouldn't have any drag.
