2) "I did get a 12 volt reading at the blue/black wire socket so it's OK."
• Then the High (tailgate) light should work -- if the voltage is getting there and bulb is good.
Except that below (4) you say there is no blue/black wire at the BFS???
"3) I did not get a voltage reading at the yellow wire."
• That suggests an internal BFS problem, assuming the Pedal Switch voltage was getting in on the Blue/Red wire, as I suggested you test for as a first step.
"4) I do not have a yellow/gray or blue/black wire but I do have a yellow/blue but I guess it doesn't matter, right."
• I assume you got voltage on the yellow/blue with pedal pressed? That's the BFS output to the warning light.
• But there are actually no yellow/gray (Left stop light) or blue/black (High stop light) wires present at the BFS socket??? Some previous owner must have buggered the wiring. And if there was no blue/black wire, how did you identify the "blue/black wire socket" in 2 above?
I'm confused here, but these "missing wires" to the Left and High stop lights suggest that somebody hacked into the wiring to bypass a BFS problem.
