I had a 740 with a manual sunroof. I would think the 240 application would be similar. I took mine apart when I put a headliner in the car and cleaned it up. It never gave me any problem and was very easy to operate. I've heard others tell horror stories about their manual sun roofs. My experience has been that if you keep the drains clean and open and keep the mechanism lightly greased everything works like it should. I like the idea of a manual sunroof. If it is a power roof, what do you do when the roof is open and the rain comes and the wife is gone with the key?
