Hi Cajun,
I personally have 3) cars with a sunroof: '87 745t, '82 240 GLTI, '95 Saturn sl2. All are greatly enjoyed and have never been a problem. In fact, I don't even bother getting the a/c working in them since I prefer the "open" driving experience of the sunroof. My daughter has a '92 940 with, you guessed it, a sunroof and likewise has had no issues with it. When it comes time to obtain another vehicle I will be looking for another sunroof... or a convertible.
