I can't imagine buying another car without a sunroof. We have had 4 740s and 2 850s with sunroofs and never had a problem except for one motor gone bad. I replaced it with a manual crank for $15.

If you keep after the drains and use a bit of lubricant, no problems.

The real question is will you use it, I use mine on every trip without rain or snow and over 32 degrees.
