heater core? S90-V90

The heater valve is dead I think. No matter how I set the air or heat the arm does not move. Which way should the arm move for AC on?
Dave, got the write up. Looks great, but what a job! I wonder if I should use the plasma torch on the fire wall side-that would get at the heater core in about 2 minutes. : )
