You have me wanting a 5 speed. My cars best mileage ever was 27.7 HWy with old AC rapid fire plugs. Now it is about 25 HWY. I will try the fan in front snice I have one. I did have a 91 245. It too was automatic but the mileage was only 24 MPG before I stared changing things. I had put turbo exauste on it, guted the converter (which was a mistake, O2 location made it run rich). Air conditioner just marginal in hot weather. The 87 I have is the one I purchased new and is a great Driver & looker with all the upgrades I've done. the motor is stock but I've hopup every thing else. Thanks again. Greg
