Bushing it myself. 120-130 1968

That's an excellent point, but could I not put a drill stop on the reamer to prevent it from boring all the way through into the intake/butterfly tunnel? - that is, limiting it to the 3/4" depth of my bushings, or less?

Yeah, I realize that this will be home-done and not up to the professional quality that Rhys or Joe Curto would do for me, but I'm thinking of it as an exercise in skill-building. I've got two completely spare bodies to practice on and aside from the cost of the reamer and bushings, it's no real money spent with me gaining a strong appreciation for how difficult it is to do quality work.

And, I've not been buying any chromed bits in lieu of proper engine maintenance.
Although I did manage to snag an original 122 Manual Binder and Inserts for just $25.00...
