The 1968 mounts a split circuit, not dual circuit like the 1800E (or my upgraded 67 wagon). As stock, the rear brake circuit is separate from the front brake circuit. I simple removed the idiosyncratic 1968 dual MC and installed a 140 booster/MC with a custom firewall flange. It looks just like the 123GT (I'm told) and the 69-70 European Amazons.
I wonder sometimes if I have the front and rear brake pipes attached to the correct line ports on the MC itself... It would not cause the problem I'm having alone, but I guess it could contribute to the rear locking up before the front...
