Hello,

New ring and pinions are still available.

A 1966 should be a Dana 27, but since a 1967 or 1968 bolts right in and those are Dana 30, you need to confirm which rear end you have.

And BTW, there was a Salibury rear end that was available in earlier 122 wagons as well. I do not know if you can get gears for those however.

I would suggest going to 4:10 to 1 ratio.

Have you considered an overdrive for the transmission?
