I don't know if they still do it, but CVI used to list a weld on bracket kit so you could swap in the saloon 4.10 axle. Probably the simplist way of doing it. Needs to be done by someone who knows how to weld properly and quickly to avoid distorting the casing. A good accurate jig would help. Daily bread for a hot rod shop.
