Engine compartment light 200

Yes you want to fuse it most likely. That terminal can short out if you are not careful and wham! Wanted constant power to the cigarette lighter so the Ipod or cell phone would charge with the ignition off. Well had the back of that sucker hit chassis working on installing new gauges and it was a good thing the fuse on that circuit was there. All you need is a sealed fuse holder and a 10 amp blade fuse in between the terminal block and the light.

There are higher watt bulbs by the way from Sylvania. About double the wattage of the recommended bulbs. Have one each under the hood and in the rear cargo hatch area on the ol 245 just for a little extra light.

Regards,

Paul
