Shift Lever 444-544

I bought a nice chrome Volvo shifter, thinking that the next time I have Hot Stuff up on the lift I'd modify it and install it on my BW 35 automatic transmission to let the car look even more stock.

The only problem I ran into would be the same as the B&M shifter already in place: no gear indicators. You have to count each detent to get it in the proper gear. Anyway, I kept putting it off until I can figure out how to install a gear indicator.

The other day I stopped at a yard sale (mostly guy stuff!) and discovered a Mustang Mach 1 shifter which also lights up at night.

It's a drop-in change, and by golly it's even taller than the B&M. No more scrabbling around under the dash trying to find the shifter!

Now to figure out why I am running on only 3 cylinders...(that happened after the MSD-2A ignition died on me 'way up in the mountains.)
