What Rhys said--have done it many times--sometimes the clutch will pop loose right away--sometimes it takes a bit of meanness on your part--has worked everytime--never any damage--and--the Volvo box will work very well without the clutch once you get the hang of it---up and down the gears--
Peugeots are the best--smooth as butter.
