I have been an avid reader of this board for a couple of years and when I have delved into a project I always do my research first. I replaced that hose when replacing the sending unit/in-tank pump, and sock. I only want to do the repair once every 100K.

I very seldom post a problem because you guys have seen it all and I usually can find the solution by reviewing previous posts or checking the 700/900 FAQ's.

That's why I am at a loss!

I even read a post about the sunroof drains leaking on top of the ECU causing the contacts to corrode. I checked them and they are clean.
