Cooling system problem 120-130

Thank you all so far for comments/ suggestions. Around 80 degrees today when I was working on the car. Drained/ refilled the system at least 3 times this week, no rust or anything unusual draining out.

I'll also try checking the fluid with a thermometer (or maybe yet another gauge) to confirm temperature.

I'm still curious, when I remove radiator cap and increase RPM's, should I see any movement in the water/ coolant inside radiator? I'm assuming that, if the fluid is circulating through the system, I would see some type of movement, especially without a thermostat installed.
