no clanking. the engine actually sounds sweet except for an exhaust to header gasket which is mildly making noise and is due for change in the next day or to.

otherwise the engine sounds strong and right at all rpms

i called the po who is an elderly man who bought this from a dealer in new london ct in 2002 when it had 108k since then he has put on 30k and told me a half hour ago he NEVER saw the light come on. i believe him.

ergo the po of the po or someone else pre 2002 pulled bulb 13 on the cluster.

i should think the dealer would have noticed but maybe not.

i can only assume the engine would have blownup a long time ago if the pressure was really that bad. i will nevertheless get the bottom of it tommorrow.
