Need help changing to different speedometer 200

Dave,

I'm hoping I can find an easier solution. I don't have the 1993 Volvo green book on wiring just the 1990. It looks like the 1990 might square up the low level input from the tone ring on the speedometer head whereas the 1993 does it else where as that signal is also needed for ABS like you say.
