Time to dump the Weber...advice needed. 140-160 1971

OK, I hear ya. I'll hook up the water line before I make any drastic decisions. Where is the easiest place to splice into the coolant lines? Heater core lines coming through the fire wall? Do you just use a brass T? Or replace one of the coolant lines with something different?

"Had a local shop who has plenty of experience, track and road, re-jet and tune it a while back.
How did it run after they finished with it?"
Ran better but still stumbled off idle and when going from mild throttle to wide open quickly. It has also ALWAYS had a "run-on" problem despite all the usual fixes to correct this ie. vacuum leaks, idle too fast.

AND, just in case.... Found a set of OE carbs on craigs list from a '67 B18 122. If needed, would these be a good choice?

Thanks a bunch for the help!!

Wayne
