Hello Colin,

IMO, the best way to determine Dana 27 or Dana 30 is to measure the diameter of the axle tube. The 27 will be 2 1/4" and the 30 will be 2 1/2".

But if your car has the later style of rear suspension, it will be a Dana 30.

I deal with a wholesaler and I can usually match or beat a price on the SAME manufacturer and I prefer to use only Dana ring and pinions, spider gears and Timken bearings.
