Rear Diff Gearing 1800

As has been said, 70 MPH is roughly 3500 RPM in overdrive, give or take a bit for varying tires sizes.

This shouldn't feel like any strain on the engine at all. If yours is noisy or otherwise seems unhappy at that speed, I'd look into why that is rather than changing gearing that's very well matched to the available power from the factory.
