i have bought it from a man who kept the car for 10 years in the garage.
he started and run it a few times a year.

last time it started, then the rpm went up, and he never got it started again.
this was caused by a defect fuel pomp.

i replaced it, and now the engine does get fuel.

i doubt if it is timing belt or valves.
it ran until the fuel pomp died ...
