make sure the throttle shaft bushings are not leaking(sucking air) wont be able to get it to runright if they are. you can get oversized throttle shafts and a reemer for the bushings or get them rebushed. Very commopn problem with SU carbs, and not a hard fix if you have the reamer and oversized shfts.
