I read over this post and some of the responses for a couple of reasons--my love of 122's for one -- and all this talk about towns in MO--I went to college in KC--back when Lenny Dawson, Jan Stenerud and crew owned KC. I worked part time for my landlord parking cars in his lot across the street from Municipal Stadium. As for a couple of your questions---the Weber is simple--but if you disassemble it be sure to keep track of which jets came from which side of the carb. The accelerator pump diaphragm can be changed without removing the carb--just the four screws on the pump cover. There are two types of fittings for the manifold for crankcase breathing. They look the same on the outside. One type has an orifice that is reduced in diameter made for the crankcase system without a PCV valve. Your system (with PCV valve) should have the fittting that's straight through. Check which fitting you have and make sure it is actually clear. You should use only the PCV valve made for the Volvo and make sure the crankcase breather can is clear--they do build up crud. Best of luck with your car---Dave
