I bought the donor car from the local Volvo guru. He'd bought it for some other parts but the engine was mostly all there. The reason that he sold it to me was because it'd had an engine fire due to a deteriorating engine wiring harness. He said that before the fire the car ran fine. I don't intend to be rude (perhaps frustrated) but this is irrelevant because as I've posted numerous times, during this conversion literally everything is new in this engine and it's electrical systems except for the ECU, ICU, upgraded eng. wiring harness and the relays. Oh and the piston rings as well as the injectors which aren't new but they were ultrasonically cleaned and flowmatched by Rich Jensen at cruizinperformance.com. So I'm virtually starting from scratch. Thanks, Charles
