Replacing Compressor 200 1985

The coil is grounded through the frame of the coil housing and its bolts.

There should only be one wire for the positive lead to apply power.

Check the coil for resistance to ground or apply power to hear it click faintly.

You may have to place your fingers on the front to feel it move or flex inward.

In order to remove the coil you will have to pull that inside front plate.

It takes a special puller Its like a bolt made to engage its internal threads of rotating clutch disc.

Then that puller is actually a pusher. It then has a bolt in its center, that is screwed inwards. The screw pushes against the compressor shaft and pops the disc off.
