I have read all I can find about the B 18 engines and most of what I read says that the B18B engine was never offered for the PV544. My engine seems to be a B18B because my engine has the "intermediate piece for the positive ventilation crankcase (B18B early production.)" between the Carb and air cleaner.

2 questions:
1. Does anybody know where I can get gaskets for that device and the carbs?
2. There are three B18B engine combinations (according to the service manual) type 1, type 2 and type 3. There is a difference among the horsepower output for the three types. Does anybody know how to tell the difference between the types?
