Wheelbase 1970 and 1971 140-160

you know... I honestly don't know about any of those issues... I did the swap before I knew of the wheel base difference. Since I swapped it all out though, well... it bolted up fine.

For what it's worth, I used a M41, driveshaft, and rear from a '71 142E, with all the 142E suspension...I replaced the BW35 back that came in my '70. it seems fine, but.. it could be the springs are bowing.. I don't know. I've not driven the car in a year or so, but I did put about 10k spirited miles on after the swap with no problems...

Except them front fenders... seems the '70 and earlier front fenders are less accepting of Virgos.. again, another change I'd not known about. The Virgos were fine exception only the most extreme suspension travel in hard turning situations (read.. 4 wheelin')
