Poly Puzzled 200

Heck, I'll chime in here as well. I love poly bushing for a couple of reasons; I'm pretty sure that I won't have to go back in to the same area for a very, very long time, and I like the feel that they impart on the car. I believe that with the four link suspension found on the 240s, there isn't much room for axle wrap (as found on leaf spring suspensions, for instance). They seem impervious to petroleum products, which is great as well. I am absolutely in agreement with having all the bolts torqued to spec with the car's weight supported by its suspension. For the final torque work on the rear, I just drop the darling down on a pair of jackstands under the axle.
I laughed out loud when I read the post in here about dropping down the exhaust. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only stubborn Volvo wrencher on the planet!
So, in spite of the expense and increased road noise of a full poly bushing set, they work great for me.
