Powering up fuse 7 would turn on everything normally turned on with the key in KP2, not just the fuel injection. The pumps operate from fuse 5 when the fuel pump relay closes. It doesn't sound like a useful mod to me unless the ignition switch was suspect and this rocker switch duplicated it when it failed.
