I am aware both of the media blasting/sanding/painting difficulties and hazards in terms of the messes and health issues.
I like a Trim Paint (DupiColor, I think) and tend to use it frequently for things like the lower rocker panels on the 240 models. The wife always complains whenever I had used it in the garage. (she doesn't know about my using the basement shower stall as a paint booth...)
And, after refurbishing my in ground pool with a rubberized paint cut with Xylene, I'll never even open the can of that stuff indoors! Fumes and odor never seem to leave.
I limit my spraying to small components, like valve covers, say, or touch ups like wheel arches. this roof will be done outside, and, as another has suggested, within a makeshift booth.
While i painted my 78 144 some years ago in a gravel parking lot of my apartment house, it's just too windy at my house for that.
