Checking In Tank Pump 200 1990

Dead pump??

By the sound of it, yes. If you use a jumper to get the voltage there (6 to 4 right side) you can do this with the car shut off, so it will be easy to hear anything running.

Even if you find the break in the circuit is in the sender assembly feedthrough, I would recommend replacing the tank pump if it has 224K miles. It has exceeded its GM-designed life span.
