Well Hell, Cameron, he shoulda thrown your name out there as 'the mechanic'...

We know you know what you're doing.

Sure.. try a pressure regulator.. but in my opinion, it's a band-aid..

Were it me, I'd be double checking for cleanliness in the float valves, make sure only clean fuel is getting through them.

I'm also a big fan of gross jets, but... they are perhaps more troublesome when it comes to debris, so.. yea, were it me, I'd try them.

I will say.. I've had the same problem, and deemed it totally unsolvable. In those rare cases, I just threw new/used parts at it.. I swapped on a completely different set of carbs. I had 'em in stock. It was admittedly not solving the problem, rather, just replacing it with another set of problems...

Good luck with it.. that can be amongst the most annoying things on these cars, and such a simple little system, it should be a cake walk.
