Wait!. 200

Before you pull off the starter/solonoid make absolutely sure it is bad. Your tests and diagnostics as described are a bit confusing
eg:
Jumped from remote start switch to battery
Jumped from remote start switch to Starter
The remote start connector is designed to be jumped across it's 2 connectors not to the battery or to the starter. Depending which side of the connector you jumped nothing would happen.

Jumped from Battery to Starter. What connector on the starter did you jump to? If a jumper is applied from battery plus to the yellow/black (the smaller contact) the starter should crank, if no then its a pretty sure bet the starter or solonoid is bad. If it cranks your problem is elsewhere in the starter circuit.

Cannot explain why light is on with socket 6, but that has nothing to do with cranking the starter. Likewise crank position has nothing to do with cranking nor does mass air flow sensor. The starter circuit is the simplest on the car. When key is turned to start 12V goes from battery to ignition switch to neutral/park to solonoid (yellow black). The solonid clicks and applies 12V to starter motor via the heavy wire from battery. Before you get side tracked by the other issues you must get the starter cranking.
Good luck, post back.
