That's odd too. Looks like you have B20 intakes with B18 exhausts. Does it have valve stem seals inside the spring?

.050" of squish is just fine, how does the top ring look? You can usually get a bit of a look at it from the top without actually pulling it apart & guesstimate the end gap.

What did it actually go like before you pulled it apart?
