Yes that was my next step to degree the can and check lift, int, open and close etc.
Yay! My biggest hurdle around here is convincing people that they should degree in their cams when installing.
it measured anywhere from .425 down to .355 and some in between.
If that's the case, just pull the cam.
.425" lift means that it's not a stock B18B C cam, it would likely be a K or an Isky VV-61. Your SU's are a limiting factor too, but they can make mediocre power with great economy. Ultimately, you want twin 45 or 48mm DCOE or DHLA carburettors if power is your primary objective, but first you need a good head. The least limiting factor is the twin downpipe Volvo exhaust or lightweight replica that you have, provided the exhaust system is good. The most limiting factor is the exhaust ports with the 73+ heads providing an exhaust port that is easiest to modify.
